Quick Start Guide for Newborns

INSIDE THIS AMAZING 2-HOUR WORKSHOP

I’LL WALK YOU THROUGH:

How to take care of your new baby

The moment you get home from the hospital or adoption center you’ll need to know how to change a diaper, feed and burp the baby, bathe and dress him. We’ll show you how!

What to do when they cry

There’s something about a newborn’s cry that make you want to make it stop! That response is there by design. We’ll teach you to figure out what your baby is communicating with his cry and show some different ways to soothe and calm him down.

The secret sleeping trick

You’ve heard it and it’s true. You will be sleep deprived. I’ll teach you the basics of how to get your baby to sleep and what you need to know about sleep patterns of newborns. And reveal the secret that will help YOU get a little shut-eye, too!

The game-changing formula for surviving the first weeks of parenthood

Every new parent is unsure of themselves. I sure was! And the overwhelm can be well, overwhelming. I’ll give you a formula for baby care + self care that insures you don’t just survive, but THRIVE in those first few weeks.

“When I was a young mom, Ann encouraged me and helped me see little ways I could connect with my children right where they were and to slow down to enjoy it. She has been an incredible influence on my mothering.”

Jennifer Allen

  • Free from the quicksand of running to “Google that” as questions come up. No wasting time trying to find answers by searching hundreds of sites. You’ll have a quick guide to refer to for basic questions about your baby. And  I’ll give you sound recommendations for further learning!
  • Committed to getting the rest you need. New parents are exhausted and yes, you’ll be sleep deprived. Both you and your baby need to recover from labor/delivery and adjust to your new life. I’ll show you different ways to help your baby sleep and share tips on some serious self-care!

A note from Ann…

It’s one of the most life-changing things that will ever happen to you. You go from “me” to “we” in what feels like a flash. And the comment I hear most frequently is “I had NO idea what to do when we got home from the hospital! How do I hold him? How much formula do I make? What if he doesn’t burp? What diapers should we use? And how many should I buy? How can I get him to stop crying??”

This workshop is designed to answer these initial questions and show you the basics of caring for your baby and for yourself. It includes:

  • A LIVE workshop with Ann, including live Q&A
  • Videos that you can watch on repeat until it sinks in
  • A few days of Facebook interaction to answer your questions as they arise
  • PDF overview to print and refer to as needed

This invaluable workshop will ease your mind and get you ready to love on that little beautiful person that’s gonna ROCK your world!

I can’t wait to see you there!
